Pear Season

Pear season here once again. Ugg, I didn't do as much pear sauce as I normally do, but after two days straight of canning, I was DONE!
New halloween decor I made this year, for the front door.  It's kinda creepy, creeps me out a little bit!

Foo Fighters

I don't know why my photos uploaded all out of order but oh well.  We went up to Portland and met up with Rich and Kjerstin to go to the Foo Fighters Concert!!!!! We've had the tickets almost a year so we were super excited.. We went up on Sunday afternoon and ate some yummy food.  We also walked around the Rose Gardens a bit.  The concert was on Monday night.  It was so amazing, I'm pretty sure I almost peed my pants when Dave Grohl came out on stage. So fun!! I loved every minute and want to go again!! We've been such fans for so long, it was really a treat to see them live.

Fall Porch Flowers

I wanted to make my front porch more Fall-ish this year.  I had a big helper come with me and choose some fun plants that should last us through the winter! We also have a few pots of mums and I can't wait to get some pretty pumpkins and gourds out there as well!

Chase has Mrs. Pickett this year and Kardyn has Mrs. Eisenstein.  Both are wonderful teachers! They were beyond excited to start school this year!

it's september

One last pool date, only it was freezing! We went to the Immigrant Lake Waterslides with the Cleggs, but it was pretty dang chilly that evening.  Kids had fun regardless.
My goal this summer was to find books that Chase actually wanted to read and I didn't have to make him read.  I think I accomplished that.  He read the entire Percy Jackson series in a matter of weeks. I'm so happy he loves to read
These are the planted boxes that Tim made for me this summer. One is big, going on the back porch, and is still empty.  The other one is smaller, and going on the front porch.  I'll show pics of what I filled it with soon!
