Date with my girl

I finally got the opportunity to sneak away with Kardyn and go see the new live-action Disney movie, Cinderella! It really was magical! Such a cute movie, can't wait to watch it again!

few more things

I found this to be hilarious
Tim got me a FANTASTIC early mothers day present! These beautiful patio chairs in 3 colors! The black ones aren't in the picture. We have been searching for years for good chairs and a good price. Well, he found some. So excited! We've already eaten outside on them 2x!
I'm also anxiously awaiting the time when I can plant flowers and decorate my front porch, so I'm just giving some of my pots a make over in anticipation! They turned out fabulous if I do say so myself.

Easter Egg Hunt

A good friend of mine invited us to a local easter egg hunt in Central Point. The kids had a blast, we got to eat and then they all got to go find eggs. They came home with a ton of candy and it was possibly the hottest day we've had all year, but they fun.

Tim and I are excited to announce that we are going to be parents again!! Hahaha...ok not really. But we do get to "adopt" 8 or so kids on the Trek! That's right, Tim and I get to go on the Pioneer Trek as Ma & Pa. We are super excited and can't wait! I was able to attend 2 Trek's as a youth and loved them, so I am beyond thrilled to participate again, this time as a Ma. We just got assigned our families so next step is meeting with them here in a few weeks.
On another side note, I've been doing PiYo for my work outs and I'm in love.  No. Seriously.  I haven't enjoyed exercising this much in...well...ever! I've been working out almost 6 days every week for almost 3 months now. I love how I feel, I love that I'm toning my body, I just love how much it's improved my moods, it's just fantastic. I highly recommend it!
We also love hanging out with Kathlene, especially when she makes us cotton candy and plays games. Good times.

My tulips are in full bloom and I love my front yard! But this year, it's a sad reminder of what I was going through exactly one year ago, shingles!! Ugg. I'm so glad that part of my life is over and I've been able to move forward, but these flowers will probably remind me always of that horrible, awful time in my life. But they are pretty!!

 classic Tim photo

I finally got a fishing license. For so many years I just don't go because I don't want to chase around a toddler the whole day. But know that Everleigh is old enough to play and the older kids can watch her, I finally get my turn! I was excited and I was super nice outside, even got a bit of a sunburn!

Within the past year or so, a new family moved into our ward, the Cox's. They have a  daughter, Brecken, who is Kardyn's age and a boy, Ezra, who is Chase's age. They have lots of fun together.

Recently Kathlene and I started crafting together again. We also had another friend, Morgan with us. We made these awesome string art pictures to hang on the wall. I loved how they turned out, it was a super easy and inexpensive craft.

It's March!

What happened to February! Time is flying these days!
I learned how to Dutch Braid! I wanted to learn so I can do fun braids on my hair whenever it decides to get LONG! But it does look super cute on the girls
I also love braiding when it's wet so it comes out curly the next day, ha! saves me so much time curling my hair!

We have Dove's that nest at our house every spring, but this year they decided they needed a "fancier" nest or something.  We had to kick them out so that we can actually plant flowers in there soon.  Kind of sad, hopefully they come back and find their usual nest.
Here is a little before shot of this little piece of furniture that I was given. I just wanted to give it a little face lift. This was actually after I sanded it, discovered that it had been painted red at one point I guess.

The kids were so excited that they found BAYMAX at the store, they had to get a photo.

Here is the after shot. I think it turned out super cute! I just put my work out clothes and pi's and stuff in it, but I think it looks nice in our bedroom.

 Guess what came to town!?
