check up time

Kardyn just had her six month check up, even though she's 7 months. We got a little behind because I was waiting for our new insurance to go through. It took over a month for them to process our request, it was a little annoying. However, we are insured once again! Anyway, she is weighing in at 15 lbs 11 oz and is about 27 inches long. I can't believe how fast she's growing up...she's got one little tooth and one more that can't decide if it want's to pop up or go back down. I'm glad she's getting teeth later than Chase, he started getting his at 4 months old. They just make my babies look so much older, I don't like it! 

Kardyn always wakes up happy from her naps! What a welcome change from Chase! When he was a baby he always woke up screaming! Kardyn is content and all smiles when she wakes up! How can you not love that face!

Well....I did it! I know everyone has their own opinions about piercing a baby's ears and mine are, that if she doesn't like them later, she can take them out. I'd rather do it now, then deal with the drama later. Besides, how can you not think that's cute!

Sleepy boy

For whatever reason today, Chase would not take a nap. Now Chase is a boy who needs a nap, and I can't really remember when he's missed one in a long time. Today after church, he just came home, ate lunch and went to bed. However, I checked on him and we was just hanging out in his bed...at least he wasn't waking up his sister. I knew right there it was going to be a bad evening! Later tonight we went over to a friends house for dinner and after that I went in my room to finish watching a movie I had started earlier (August Rush, VERY GOOD btw) and Chase said he wanted to watch too! He got pretty quiet, but I kinda forgot he was laying at the foot of my bed. After it was over, I saw him laying there like this....all curled up on the floor!

Little bit of this and a little bit of that

Tim's family came to town last week! Unfortunately it was for a funeral....but it all done now and we are back to the grind. Tim's grandma who lives up here, her husband of 3 1/2 years passed away suddenly. I'll try and post the nice thing that Tim made online soon for the memorial service.

 Jason, my brother-in-law loves to take tons and tons of pictures while he's here! So here are some cute ones of Kardyn.

Yeah she does this regularly, it's cute, I love my baby girl! We had lots of fun with everyone visiting and we wished they could have stayed longer. Chase actually cried as they drove away! And Kjerstin flew out, and Chase kept asking where she went because he didn't get to come to the airport with me.
