Baby pics & Air show

I finally got a few minutes to put my pictures on the computer. Here are some cute ones with Chase and his new sister! He was in awe. He just kept staring at her. He has enjoyed being with her so far!

This is the day we came home from the hospital, excuse the HUGE BINKI!
Chase saw me wrapping up Kardyn and wanted "his blanket" too. He insisted that he be wrapped the same way, however he was way too big for his blanket. Too cute!
Today Tim took Chase and my brother Zane to the air show in Klamath Falls. They had lots of fun! It was nice for Chase to get away with Daddy for awhile.

Updates & I'M TAGGED!

First, I figured I'd better give an update on my ever expanding belly! When I went into my doctors appointment on Monday, sadly I was only at a 1 and not effaced. I was hoping to be induced when my mom got here (Wednesday) and before my doctor went out of town this weekend. My doctor said it wasn't a good idea to induce when I wasn't "ready" so I'd just have to hang out. Well, on Monday evening I started having some contractions and feeling sick to my stomach accompanied with some other "stuff" and I thought I had the flu. So when I wasn't feeling any better and my contractions had stopped, we called the hospital just to see what they had to say. Pretty much they wanted me to come in and check me out. Sadly, I was still at a 1 and not effaced but I was having regular contractions while I was there. So, they sent me home. Last night was the night from hell and slept only a few hours. While I didn't have many contractions, my back was killing me. I've had a lot of back pain this pregnancy, but last night it was bad. After 2 hot showers, a bath and walking around my house, it was finally morning. My doctor called and said I could come in around 5pm to get checked again if I wanted so I waited all day in misery and went in to see him tonight. So I'm finally at a 2 and I can be induced! I'm so glad to see and end in sight! I don't know how people labor like this! It's been awful! So, my mom will be here tomorrow and I'm set to be induced bright and early on Thursday morning. I'm bringing a lap top so I'll post pictures ASAP. I can't wait!

Have I mentioned...

How much we would LOVE a new camera? Maybe for Christmas! My wildflowers are growing out of control and I never know what to do with them. One of my friends suggested cutting them to bring inside, I don't know why I never thought of that considering I already cut my roses. These are just obnoxious outside because they get so TALL! Anyway, I love them inside and I'll keep bringing them in now!

Hopefully the last....

Hopefully these are the last of the belly shots! Amy wanted to see one more! So here ya go! Let's keep our fingers crossed that the next post is of the new baby!

New Stroller

I finally got my stroller! I never thought I would get a tandom double stroller, but I really like this one! The baby seat can go in the front chair, Chase can sit in the back like he is, or that seat comes out and he can stand up or sit facing me (while pushing). I just like having the options for Chase since he is getting bigger and walking beside me is totally out of the question. Chase is a wild man! I just thought these pictures were cute because we put the stroller together and he wanted to sit in it, he was there for probably 20 minutes or so before he wanted to get out!

New book

I am just posting to see if any of you out there have read Stephanie Meyers new book, The Host. I'm just curious to see if it's worth getting, I don't read a whole lot, but since I like the Twilight series so much, I thought it might be worth reading. Let me know!

Fishing & Flowers

It was free fishing weekend here in Oregon and last year we were able to take full advantage of it. However, being 9 months prego, I didn't really feel like camping! So, we ended up going to Hyatt lake and enjoying the activities that they have going on there for the kids and tried to get some fishing in. We drove up on Saturday with the Skabelunds. This is Lexie painting her fish to be printed on her T-shirt. We made one for Chase too but I forgot to take pictures!
Madison painting her fish!

This is how they put this fish on the shirt, these fish are huge!
Tim wanted to get Chase a fishing pole this year, so we went and got him a Sponge Bob fishing pole for him to use. He totally loved it! He had so much fun "fishing" with dad.

My roses are coming up! Since they are in my back yard and no one sees them but us, I like to cut them and bring them inside so we can enjoy them more!
Some of the petals have been kind of wilted and I had to try and figure out online what is wrong with them since I'm not much of a gardener. I think it's because we've had so much rain and the roots are staying too wet. Hopefully the newer blooms will look prettier. If that's not the problem, I think they might have fungus! Then I have to go get something to kill it!

3 weeks and counting

This weekend was pretty mello. We just had a lot of things to get done around the house before we have this baby and all our family comes. Saturday it POURED rain for about 10 minutes and that was it! It was nice though because it was a warm rain! At least Tim got to mow the lawn before it rained! Chase loves to watch, so we stood outside while it lasted and enjoyed it. We also celebrated Carrie's 27th birthday this weekend and of course I forgot my camera! But we had fun visiting and eating yummy cake that Aaron made! I also had my first 1 week doctors appointment today, and everything is still fine. No progress to report, which I'm OK with. Of course I'd rather have this baby sooner than later, but I guess I can wait a little bit longer! This week is crazy anyway and if she came now it would only add to my stress. I've been planning for Enrichment Night for awhile, which is this Thursday. I still have lots to do until then, so that is keeping me busy. After that is done with, I would be OK to have the baby. Chase came 15 days early so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
