News

Well in the last 10 minutes we had 2 phone calls letting us know that our Prophet had passed away. I don't think much has been said yet, but I'm sure they will have updates tomorrow. I just wanted to post his picture and I know he will be missed, he has done great things for our church and has been a wonderful leader and example as well.

Snow Again!

Today when we left for church (at 11am) it was raining! When we came home, it was super snowing! Most of you know from my previous posts that it doesn't snow too much here! It's been snowing all day and we had about 6 inches when it was all done! After Chase woke up from his nap we let him go out and play for awhile! He had fun. The first snow picture is from right when we got home from church, and the rest are from a few hours later.

It's A.....

GIRL! Our ultrasound definitely shows we are having a girl. We are really excited! Here are some pictures for you! The ones of her face are kind of hard to see b/c she had both of her hands behind her head, so those aren't great, but at least you can still see something!

Bryce Spindle

I finally got some pictures from Dan, so here is Bryce Spindle! He was born on Jan. 17th and he weighed 7lbs 9oz! I miss you guys so much and I can't wait to see you soon!

I think we may have a Zane on our hands!

The outfit and the "bandanna" remind me of Zane. He just loves army stuff. So when Chase wanted to wear an old headband of mine this morning, it turned into a bandanna and he wore it around for awhile. When I wanted to take his picture, he had to hold his dog. It's funny because he is actually posing for his pictures....he says cheese too!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

On Saturday we went to Grants Pass to celebrate Tim's grandma's birthday! We went out to dinner with some of her friends and then also our family that lives up there. Sorry this is a bad picture of her but it's the only one I got!

Tim and his Aunt Dawn
This is the table with grandma and her friends
This is Dawn's family....Jack and his son Jake and wife Sabina and then Jessika (Tim's cousin) and her family
This was Friday after Tim came home from work. Chase loves to play with stickers!
Say CHEESE!
Overall we had a pretty nice, relaxing weekend which doesn't happen much anymore so it was nice just to enjoy. Tim had a church basketball game Saturday morning and I had a church volleyball game Saturday afternoon. I'm waiting to get some pictures from Kendra (my friend that left me to live in Arizona!) She just had her 3rd baby last week and I need pictures! I think it's baby season because I do not recall so many people being pregnant last time I was! Just even here in town, Debbie just had her baby boy 3 weeks ago, Rhonda is due any day! Crissy and I are due 2 weeks apart in June and a girl that Tim works with is due that month also...and someone who isn't telling anyone yet is due in September! That doesn't even count everyone else! My cousin Codi is due in March I think and I think Tris is as well...and Jackie! Emy is OVERDUE! My other cousin is due in June and I'm pretty sure Deborah is also...oh and my friend Holly and Christy! I'm pretty sure there are others I'm forgetting but I can't even keep track anymore! It's crazy!! I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Random pictures

So Tim has finally downloaded the pictures off of his IPhone and sent them to me, so I thought I'd post some random shots! These first 3 are my favorite! They are from our Thanksgiving trip to Utah. We had to keep Chase entertained because he is a wild man, so we downloaded a few episodes of his favorite shows onto out video IPod for him to watch. We knew he wouldn't keep those dinky little earbud phones in, so this is what we found around the house. I think he looks so cute! It really kept him occupied for most of the flight and I plan on doing the same thing on my way to Arizona in a few weeks...especially since I'll be flying without Tim.

These next 2 shots are from last October I think when we went to San Fransisco with my family. This is my brother Zane with Chase at Ghirardelli Square.

Yes, now that Tim is getting older he can finally grow facial hair! Should the Elders Quorum President have facial hair!?!?! hehehe...
This is Tim working on the Skabelunds kitchen...it's almost done now!! Go check out her blog on the side and see the progress....Kathlene and Travis
Robby being a dork!

Venting

For those of you who don't have the privilege of living around me when I'm prego might not know just how much of a complainer I am! But then again, I guess if you know me enough, you may have been able to figure that one out on your own. Anyway, all I can say is the second pregnancy sucks for me! Not so much the being sick part, because I'm pretty much over that, it's more of the being uncomfortable ALREADY part that sucks. I mean come on, I still have like 5 months left and sometimes I feel like I can't even breathe. I swear everything is pushing up into my chest and it's not nice! And this stomach that is barely visible to most people is SO in my way already....I think it's worse this time because I have a child to take care of and last time I just had to work. It just must be one of those nights because I feel awful and I just need to vent. So most of you can ignore my little venting spurt and don't feel sorry for me because I'm just complaining AGAIN. Nothing new to any of my friends! I just needed to get it all out.

Cold Day Outside

So I have been getting lots of comments that no one can see my prego belly....well I can and I already feel stinkin fat! So here it is for all of you to see!
We just had a new family move into our ward with another boy (yeah!!!) who is almost the same age as Chase and our other friend Cohen. Since the weather has been pretty cold, we decided to try this Kids Discovery Zone place. I went there a few years ago with my nieces and nephews, but it was still "under construction." Well, it still is! But the kids had fun playing anyway and it was nice to get out and go do something with the kids.
They have these places where they can pretend to grocery shop and serve food and build things and this is what Chase enjoyed the most. Putting food in his shopping cart.

Cohen and Chase camping.

Chase has this new thing where he is like fascinated with buckles. He buckles everything! So he had fun playing with the life jacket in the boat.
This is Parker going down the slide.

New Years Eve

For New Years we went over the Skabelunds. I didn't get many pictures either because I forgot to get out my camera....prego brain already I guess! But Carrie and Aaron came, Lissa and Jeremy and their kids, Brandon & Tamera and their daughter Abbie, and Savanah & Adam and Robby. We had fun playing games all night. We stayed out way too late and I didn't eat enough food so of course I got sick when we got home. That's really the only time I get sick anymore is if I don't eat enough, so I'm usually pretty good about that. But I guess we were just having too much fun! Happy New Year everybody!

Running Y Ranch

These are the pictures from our trip up to Klamath Falls last weekend. However, I didn't get as many pictures as I'd like! These are all from the drive on the way home. On the way up it was dark and I couldn't see anything. The drive is only 45 miles, but with all the snow, it took us 2 hours to get up there. This place is huge though, it's like a golf resort too. I tried to find some good pics online to show, but no luck. Anyway, we had an awesome dinner that night and the next day I had an awesome massage at their spa. That's the other reason why I didn't get many pics the next day....it was FREEZING up there and that was the only time I went outside and I didn't bring my camera to the spa. Oh well. But we had lots of fun and it was really nice to get away for a few days.
