All For Love

Last night Kathlene and I convinced Tim to shave his head....this was the mohawk before the shave.

Pretty Sweet

Final product....I think he looks good, he's not so sure yet. I guess we'll see what he decides to do with it. It's just nice to have a change, he's had the same hair for the whole 8 years that I've known him...except for it was maybe a different color once or twice.

On a random note, this is what I did all day yesteday...canned peaches! A family in our ward gave me some peaches to can so I was really excited. This was my first time doing peaches, I think they turned out pretty decent!

So I had to follow Deborah becuase I am reading the Harry Potter books, and I took the quiz. It's a great personality quiz...Ashley...I know you want to do it!

The sorting hat says that I belong in Hufflepuff!

Said Hufflepuff, "I'll teach the lot, and treat them just the same."

Tonight we had a baby shower/going away party for Jenn. She's leaving us to go to Utah with her husband and worst of all she hasn't even had that dang baby yet! But we still had fun, we went out to dinner and she opened our presents and we had a fun girls night! This is Kathlene, me and Carrie.

This is Jenn and Kathlene with their mom Jill, she came up to help them move...we had fun and we are all sad to see her leave!

Yesterday we had some rain, which is unusuall for us at this time of year. None the less, Chase wanted to play. So I opened the back door for him and he was a little scared to go all the way outside. so until it wasn't raining so hard, he only played right outside the door where he was still covered! He had fun.

By dinner time, he was tired! He must have had a rough day!

I Didn't Know

So I had no idea how many people actually look at Craigs List. Do you guys all know about this and I have been in the dark forever! I guess it's a free website of local listings of pretty much anything you can want that people are trying to sell or give away. I know I've heard of it maybe once or twice before, anyway, Tim and I are trying to sell our fridge. We have an old one that was in our house when we bought it. We just recently bought a new one so we are trying to get rid of this old one. Well, I had seen something on TV about Craigs List, so I decided to go online and list it there before I paid money to list it in The Nickle. We've had success in the past with The Nickle, but it ususally takes us 3-4 weeks before we sell what we are trying to sell. So I placed the add on Craigs List on Monday night. By Tuesday morning, I had 2 emails asking about the fridge. So I had both people coming to look at it today, and I sold it for full asking price to the first guy who came and saw it! That was easy! Who knew!?

Transformers baby!

Alright...for those of you who have not seen Transformers, go see it. It was awesome, we really enjoyed it. The entire movie was action packed! Very good flick! We had plans to go see it for Tim's birthday last night, and we had a babysitter and everything, and we get to the theater, and their power was out! The only good theater in town! So we had to go to the crapy dollar theater in the ghetto (white city) instead. The sound was awful and we really wished we could have really actually HEARD the movie too, the sound in those crapy theaters is pretty bad. But it was still a good movie and we still had fun with our friends!

Carrie and Aaron!

Kathlene and Aaron hanging out...we have to get a picture of this!

My Parents House

For those of you who didn't know, last September my parents moved to Arizona. They bought this really cool house, but it was pretty out dated. It had lovely pink ceramic tile on the floor throught the first floor and old carpet upstairs. So they hired Stoney White (an old friend from Chicago, who now lives in Arizona as a contractor) to re-model their home. He did a wonderful job! The stone on the floors is my very favorite! It is beautiful! This is part of their master bathroom, which is awesome! And below is the kitchen which had a huge transformation....the entire kitchen is new and the island was put in. It turned out gorgeous, I'm jealous!

More 4th of July Randomness

As part of the 4th of July celebration in town, all these hot air balloons were flying around and then at night they were lighting them up to the beat of music. So that was kind of fun to go and see.

Me with Allison and Lexie leaving the show.

Saturday afternoon we went out with the Skabelunds on thier boat, and this is all Chase wanted to do....he actually wasn't very happy most of the time. We swam with him in the lake and he liked that, and he really liked when the boat would go fast!

This is Amy's little boy Jackson, they live in Utah and I just can't believe how much he is growing up! He's 10 months old!

Fourth Of July

So it was the 4th when we went and picked up our family that was visiting us, and on the way back to Medford, we stopped in Grants Pass to visit Jack and Dawn (our Uncle & Aunt) for a 4th of July party! They usually have a big pool party and Jack's band, "Mr.J" plays. It was lots of fun!

Fun with Family

Last week we had some family come and visit, this is Marshall and Kristina! They planned a trip from Utah up the California coast up to Crescent City where we went and got them. Then on the way home we stopped to see the Redwoods.

There was this little stream that we found and Chase was so eager to just jump needless to say he was soaked by the time we left. He had fun though!

As we would go through parts of the trail, ferns had overgrown a lot of it, so Chase was leading us and he was scared to push the ferns out of the way, so he closed his eyes most of the time.

These are the famous Banana Slugs that are in the Redwoods, they are huge and slimy!
